Our Ambassadors.

Friends of Volkswagen.

Whether it’s their exceptional skills and abilities, or their individual approach to life, each of the Volkswagen ambassadors embodies our brand spirit in their own unique way.

Pat Callinan 4x4 Volkswagen Amarok – Volkswagen Australia

The continent crosser.

Pat Callinan.

Nobody knows off-road driving like Pat Callinan. For decades, Pat’s been driving the Canning Stock Route, the Simpson Desert, Cape York, the Kimberley, the Victorian High Country, the Flinders Ranges, Fraser Island, the Red Centre and the Gulf of Carpentaria.

If that wasn’t keeping him busy enough - when he’s not travelling the length and breadth of the country - he’s also making highly successful television shows about it. His Volkswagen of choice? The ‘tough as nails’ Amarok V6, of course.

Jimmy barnes Volkswagen Ambassador – Volkswagen Australia

The rock star.

Jimmy Barnes.

There’s no bigger star in the galaxy of Australian music than Barnsey.

As the front man for the legendary Cold Chisel, Jimmy had 15 Top 40 albums. He then went on to have 15 charting solo albums, including ten Number Ones. In fact, he holds the record for the most hit albums of any Australian artist.

Jimmy’s a long-time Volkswagen fan, and the proud owner of a Touareg V10 TDI, but he chooses the extra space of the Multivan for rock ‘n’ roll roadtrips, and family time with his many grandchildren.

Adam Liaw Volkswagen Passat Alltrack – Volkswagen Australia

The all-rounder.

Adam Liaw.

Adam Liaw has many passions in life, and he likes to combine them with his own unique flair.

He is a food columnist, the author of 5 cookbooks, host of SBS’s AACTA award winning series Destination Flavour, ambassador for UNICEF and the Goodwill Ambassador for Japanese cuisine in Australia.

His VW of choice is the Volkswagen Touareg. It matches his style, whether he is food shopping or heading off on a family road trip.

Lorna Jane Clarkson Volkswagen Tiguan – Volkswagen Australia

The Entrepreneur.

Lorna Jane Clarkson.

Lorna Jane Clarkson is an icon of Australian fashion, an advocate for Active Living, and an eternal optimist.

As one of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs and thought leaders, she has grown her eponymous Activewear brand into a global movement embraced by millions. She’s won numerous awards for fashion design and retail, and if that’s not enough she has also published five best-selling books.

With a busy schedule where no two days are the same, Lorna’s Tiguan provides her with the versatility to tackle work and play in equal measure.

The leader.

Josh Kennedy.

Josh Kennedy has racked up countless awards including 3 All Australians, 3 Bob Skilton Medals and a year for Sydney Swans fans to remember in 2012.

Classed as one of the Swans’ most influential players, Josh’s leadership continues to impress. In 2017, he was selected as the Swans sole captain.

Off the field, Josh’s choice is the Touareg. A combination of sophistication and power, bringing the best of all worlds.

Jarrad McVeigh Volkswagen Touareg – Volkswagen Australia

The loyalist.

Jarrad McVeigh.

Jarrad McVeigh looms large in the world of AFL.

He is one of the Swans' longest serving players, having made over 300 appearances since joining as a rookie draft pick back in 2002. He made his debut in 2004 and was named co-captain in 2011.

Jarrad will be playing again in 2018 for his 16th season with the Swans and post his playing career, will look to stay within the AFL Industry.

As a man of such stature, Jarrad’s choice of Volkswagen is clearly the vehicle that leads from the front – the premium Touareg.

The Honey Badger.

Nick Cummins.

Aussie cult hero, ‌Nick Cummins is an Australian Rugby Union player with a personality like no other.

Dubbed the ‘Honey Badger’ after claiming to draw inspiration from the animal’s fierce defensive nature, Nick has been a standout performer in the famous green and gold jumper. More recently Nick has completed a tour of the Southern coast of Australia for his  ‘Meanwhile In Australia’ TV series, which had its world premiere in March 2018 on National Geographic.

Nick’s thirst for adventure  and love for the Australian outback is a perfect fit to the Amarok brand. Over the next few years we look forward to sharing Nick’s stories as he tours the country in his Amarok V6 Turbo-diesel.
